Venue and accommodation


The conference will be held over two venues. The lectures, refreshments and posters will be located in the Martin Wood Lecture Theatre at the Clarendon Laboratory.  Lunches, dinners and accommodation will be held at St. Anne's College. The Clarendon Laboratory and St. Anne's College are less than 5 minutes walk from each other.

Single en-suite student accommodation will be available at St Anne's College on a bed and breakfast basis (2 - 5 September 2014). Accommodation can be booked online when registering to attend the conference. The bed and breakfast rate is £75 per room per night (single occupancy).

All bedrooms are provided with bed linen, towels, toiletries and hospitality trays.

Accommodation includes full English breakfast which is served in the Dining Hall between 8am - 9am.
Other facilities
Wireless internet access is available in all bedrooms. Guests are welcome to use the University sports centre which has a gym, swimming pool and tennis courts. There is a small daily charge and advanced booking is not necessary.
Unfortunately there is no parking available at the College, however the Pear Tree park and rides are convenient. Pear Tree park and ride (OX2 8JD) is located to the north of the city, this site can be accessed from the A40 (from Witney and Cheltenham), A4260 (from Kidlington), A34 (from Banbury, Bicester and Northampton) and the M40.

On arrival please report to the Lodge which is situated at the main entrance to St. Anne's College where you will be given a key and directed to your room(s).
If you arrive before 1300 hours and your room is not ready, you may leave your luggage at the Porters' Lodge which is staffed 24 hours a day
